Feature Highlights of the Compressor Controller

Automatic Tank Drain

Automatically drains expansion tank when condensate is present using algorithmic prediction not arbitrary scheduling, preventing rust from forming in the air network and tools

Compressor Soft Start

Significantly lowers the peak current draw by starting the motor and pump in two separate stages which also prevents oil and water from mixing in the pump

Air Line Rupture Detection

Constantly monitors the air network pressure and immediately turns off the compressor when an uncontrollable air line rupture occurs preventing overrun and burn out

Multiple Compressors

Seamlessly networks multiple air compressors, whether single or duplex and regardless of the brand to digitally maintain constant air pressure as a single unit

Features of the Compressor Controller

Microprocessor technology: Microprocessor driven controllers perform analyses of the compressor machinery working at different environmental conditions every microsecond. Multiparametric, model-based computing uses that information to improve the maintenance schedule and increase the overall performance and safety of the equipment.

Intelligent compressor start/stop: Controlling the venting valve, reduces start-up current and significantly reduces the condensate in the compressed air network. This is the most significant guard against rust throughout the entire network, saving money and labor in the short and long term.

Downstream pipe integrity control : Continuous monitoring of pressure, overheating, unusual air demand, etc. provides real time feedback allowing the Compressor Controller immediately respond to an unforeseen event. The system will stop the machinery, record the time of the event and generate an audible alert to indicate that attention is needed.

Trustworthy data and intelligent management provides a huge advantage for any compressed air network. The Compressor Controller relies on a self-calibrated digital pressure sensor with an accuracy of ≤ ± 0.25 % BFSL to ensure reliable readings and consistent performance over time. The built-in self-calibration cycle also measures:

  • Current Pressure
  • Low Pressure Set
  • High Pressure Set
  • Ambient Temperature
  • Compressor Temperature
  • Maximum & Minimum Temperatures
  • Hour Meter
  • Hobbs Hour Meter
  • Cycle Counter

The Compressor Controller monitors the humidity and temperature of the air as it is compressed and accurately calculates the amount of water in the tank that requires draining. This math driven procedure drains water when it is actually there with minimum air loss, resulting in a better quality of compressed air without unnecessary waste.

Universally Compatible: Works with most electrical cycling air compressors including a wide spectrum of capacity, power consumption, and operation. The Compressor Controller allows you to plug and play the compressor to the existing machinery.
