Liquid Monitoring

SAM builds solid-state level measurement for machine coolant sumps and process tanks. Every sensor here uses a design with no moving parts and no open ports. Float sensors clog, jam, stall, and deflate. A solid-state sensor measures the fluid body itself, so chips, sludge, and tramp-oil layers cannot jam it. Rated life exceeds 10 years.

TrueLevel CNC is the complete installed product for a CNC coolant sump. It combines digital level, dual-zone temperature, a 4-line LCD, and a 450 lumen RGB light bar. One edition drives an existing tramp-oil skimmer on a computed schedule. Installation takes about 30 minutes, with no drilling and no machine downtime.

The Solid State Digital Liquid Level Sensor is the OEM component. SAM sells it quote-based to integrators. The Digital Liquid Level Sensor Dev Kit adds the DLD interface unit, C libraries, and sample code. It reports over I²C at 1.68 inch (42.7 mm) resolution. Four standard lengths run from 19.25 inch to 69.5 inch.

Typical machines are mills, lathes, and grinders with a sump. Other targets include tank monitoring, process control, and environmental monitoring. Chemically-inert construction suits water tanks through chemical storage. SAM designs and assembles the hardware in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
