The Model R is a digital air compressor controller for reciprocating compressors. It replaces the mechanical pressure switch and the timer drain with measured control. The R100 controls a single pump. The R200 controls two pumps.
A mechanical pressure switch drifts up to 20% per year. Springs wear and temperatures swing. The compressor short-cycles or over-runs, and energy use climbs. A timer drain makes the water problem worse, because it vents on a schedule instead of on need. It bleeds pressure from a dry tank. It leaves water in a wet one. That water travels downstream into tools, paint lines, and product.
The Model R holds pressure to 1% with a 304 stainless steel digital sensor. Long-term stability stays under 0.1% FS per year. The controller calculates condensate from runtime and drains water only when water has accumulated. It manages start, stop, unloading, and venting from live measurements. A study by Pecan Street, funded by the Department of Energy, measured significant energy savings and a 100% reduction in compressed air moisture.
This collection also holds the parts to install the controller. Choose the pre-wired bolt-on kit, the solid state relay kit, the VFD kit, or the components kit. The bolt-on pump temperature sensor replaces the DTB360 sensor on an R1 or R2 install.
